Who: Organized by the Beaver Unit of the American Cancer
Society and the Relay For Life Planning Committee.
What: It's about a community taking up the fight against
cancer. The Relay is a fun event involving family, friends, and all aspects of the community raising funds for the fight
Where: The walking trail along Route 51 at Brady's Run Park,
Objective: To keep a team member in motion for 24 hours! Teams have
10-15 persons per team. All are welcome to participate. Teams may have no more than 15 official registrants. Each
team member is encouraged to solicit a minimum of $150 in donations for the benefit of the American Cancer Society.
Student teams should set a goal of, at least $50 in donations per student. Teams are encouraged to strive for a collective
goal of, at least $1500 per team.
Cancer Survivors' Victory Lap will feature all cancer survivors in attendance at the
Luminaria Service: After dark, thousands
of candles will outline the track as we Light the Way to a Cure with a special luminaria service
that will honor cancer survivors or memorialize loved ones lost to cancer. Each luminaria carries a special dedication.
Tent sites will be available for teams that want to stay overnight. There will be plenty of music, entertainment, and Fun!
Prizes: Special Awards will be presented to the top three teams raising the
most money, top three individuals raising the most money, most funds raised by a student/youth team, and the best decorated
tent site and, more!

Registration: $100 for returning teams, and $50 for New teams. For information
